This is an account of the activities and development of Southern Initiatives from the period of its inception till the present.

Started as a set of sporadic welfare-oriented activities by a group of like-minded persons, Southern Initiatives, over the years, has undergone various changes and continuous refinement of its work programs, philosophies, structure and method of work. These Diaries attempt to give an idea of this metamorphosis as well as our gradual push towards well-defined goals.

We would be grateful for all comments, ideas and support that will help us realise the goals that we have set for ourselves.
